Powering Michigan’s Future features Michigan Saves, Clean Cities and Boy Scouts eventIBEW-NECA highlighted three exciting programs during the September edition of Powering Michigan’s Future on WJR. The Michigan Saves Commercial Loan Program was highlighted.
The program offers low interest loans to Detroit businesses for energy efficiency upgrades and is kicking off now with a pilot program in Metro Detroit.
Clean Cities Mobility Director, Matt Sandstrom discussed the many efforts of Clean Cities to prepare municipalities and our region for Electric and Alternative Fuel vehicles.
Clean Cities is tasked with bringing together a variety of stakeholders in the area to form an organized and efficient plan to deploy charging equipment to support Electric Vehicles.
Also featured on the show, were Ryan Maibach with Barton Malow, Preston Wallace with Limbach Company, Kevin Koehler with CAM and Ray Brauer with the Great Lakes Council of the Boy Scouts of America discussed the Building Connections fundraiser, the annual gathering of Construction professionals to raise funds for the Great Lakes Council.
